Gigli Wire Saw — Bone-Cutting Replacement Wire (Orthopaedic)

The Gigli wire saw is a specialised surgical instrument used for cutting bone. Comprised of multiple twisted stainless steel wires, it creates a flexible, abrasive chain that cuts via a reciprocal sawing motion. This design allows for precise, controlled osteotomies with minimal thermal necrosis compared to rotary saws.

Each saw is manufactured from surgical grade stainless steel with a highly polished finish for corrosion resistance and effective sterilisation. They are fully autoclavable and have been performance-tested to withstand the rigours of repeated clinical use and sterilisation cycles.

• Orthopaedic surgery for amputations or osteotomies.
