How to choose

For metal bracelet resizing, a pin pusher or link removal tool covers most bracelets. For leather notching, pick 1.5 mm for fine notches and 3 mm for buckle holes. Test the notching pliers on scrap leather first.

Pin pusher or spring bar tool: which do I need?
They do different jobs. Pin pushers push out the retaining pins in bracelet links. Spring bar tools compress the spring bar that holds a strap to the case lugs.

Can I notch my own leather watch straps?
Yes. The 1.5 mm and 3 mm notching pliers cut clean notches. Use 3 mm for standard buckle holes and 1.5 mm for finer work.

Will these tools work on all bracelet brands?
Most bracelets use standard push pins or screws, but some brands use proprietary systems that need brand-specific tools.
