About Toolsmith
Hi, I'm Khurram Yaseen. I started Toolsmith in 2025 because every trade professional I knew had the same problem — they couldn't find a UK supplier who understood precision tools.
Generic marketplaces stock generic tools. Amazon will sell you a "jeweller's plier set" that's fine for craft beads and useless for sterling silver wire. A working bench jeweller needs parallel-action jaws with the right tolerance. A dental technician needs a wax carver with the correct tip geometry. A watchmaker needs a spring-bar plier that grips 1.2 mm lugs without marring the case. Generic ranges don't go that deep.
So I built Toolsmith Ltd as a proper UK-based precision tools supplier — 700+ specialist tools held in our own warehouse, not drop-shipped, not "fulfilled by a partner." When you order before 2 pm on a working day, your tools ship the same day from our shelves.

How we buy
We source from manufacturers across Europe and Asia we've worked with directly. Each tool is inspected against professional-use criteria before it goes on a shelf. No grey-market "pro grade" resellers, no unbranded stock from a warehouse we've never visited. If we can't stand behind a tool, it doesn't make the range.
We also exhibit at the international trade fairs that define these industries — Inhorgenta Munich and T-Gold Vicenza for jewellery, and the International Dental Show (IDS) in Germany for dental. It's where we meet manufacturers face to face, see new tooling before it reaches the UK, and stay close to how these trades work at the bench.
