How to choose
For terrier breeds, use a fine stripping knife to pull out dead topcoat hair without cutting it. For double-coated breeds such as huskies and shepherds, use an undercoat rake rather than a stripping knife. Our stripping knife sets are right-handed.

Stripping knife or undercoat rake?
Stripping knives are for wire-coated breeds such as terriers and schnauzers: they pull out dead topcoat hair. Undercoat rakes are for double-coated breeds such as huskies and shepherds: they remove loose undercoat.
Are these kits suitable for beginner groomers?
Yes. Multi-blade stripping sets let you learn which blade suits each coat type without buying separate tools.
Are they right-handed or left-handed?
Our stripping knife sets are right-handed. For left-handed kit, email info@toolsmithltd.co.uk and we'll see whether we can source it.
Do you dispatch the same day?
