Mosaic Pins

Mosaic pins are decorative pins used in custom knife handles, scales and inlays — combining contrasting metals and resins to create unique, eye-catching patterns down the length of the pin.

Each pin is crafted from layered brass, copper and stainless components set in epoxy, machined down to a precise diameter for press-fit use through full-tang knife scales, leather-craft handles and bushcraft tool grips.

What they're used for

  • Knife scale pins — pin handle scales onto a full-tang blade and add character at the same time.
  • Inlay accents — short sections used as decorative dots or stripes in a contrasting handle slab.
  • Lanyard tubes — paired with a longer pin for a weighted, ornate lanyard hole.

Sizing notes

Diameters typically run 6mm – 10mm. Drill the host scale to a snug interference fit; a touch of two-part epoxy locks the pin in place. Sand and polish to flush after the epoxy fully cures (24h).
