Kit lists · BTEC & HND · Bulk ordering · NET 30 · Same-day UK dispatch
Toolsmith Ltd supplies jewellery tools to UK colleges, universities and private jewellery schools running BTEC, HND, degree and short-course programmes. This page is for institutional buyers, heads of course and procurement teams setting up first-year jewellery benches or replenishing between intakes.

- Dual UK + US ring size stamping on every mandrel (not one or the other).
- Storage-boxed starter kits so tools don't walk off at a shared college bench. See our Student & Starter Kits range.

Frequently asked questions
Do you supply kit lists to meet BTEC or HND requirements?
Yes — send us your tutor's required-tools list and we'll quote matched inventory, including bulk pricing and bundled student kits in wooden storage boxes.
Can we order per-student kits directly, or do we order in bulk to the institution?
Both. Many colleges order a full intake's worth in bulk and issue kits to students on day one. Others provide a trade code and have students order direct at tier-discount pricing. We support either model.
What if a student needs a specific specialist tool not in the standard kit?
Students with an approved trade code can order any Toolsmith product at the institution's discount tier. Specialist items like engraving gravers, parallel-action pliers or bracelet mandrels are all individually available.
Do you deliver to student addresses or only to the college?
Either. Your trade account can be set up with multi-address delivery so students receive kit directly or the college receives bulk shipments.
What's the dispatch turnaround for bulk orders?
Stock items: same-day dispatch before 2pm UK weekdays. Larger bulk orders (50+ units of one line): typically 1-3 working days depending on stock depth. Let us know your intake date and we'll confirm timing on quote.
Do you offer a discount to course tutors as well as the institution?
Yes — course tutors and technicians can be added to the institution's trade account for personal ordering at the same tier discount. Useful for supervising tutors who want the same kit at home.
