This disc cutter set allows for the precise and repeatable cutting of kite-shaped blanks from non-ferrous sheet metal. The die block and four matching punches are machined from hardened high-carbon tool steel, ensuring clean cuts and a long service life when used correctly.

To operate, simply place your annealed sheet metal (up to 18 gauge) into the die slot. Insert the desired punch and strike it firmly with a brass mallet to shear a clean blank. The set includes four distinct kite sizes: 14.69x23.06mm, 16.19x25.4mm, 17.69x27.75mm, and 19.2x30.09mm. Using a cutting lubricant is recommended to extend the life of the cutting edges.

This tool is suited for jewellers creating pendants, earrings, or decorative elements. It is also useful for model makers and craftspeople who require consistent geometric shapes from copper, brass, silver, or gold sheet.

  • Punches and die block machined from high-carbon tool steel for durability.
  • Includes four kite-shaped punches: 14.7, 16.2, 17.7, and 19.2 mm widths.
  • Cuts non-ferrous sheet metal up to 18 gauge (1.02 mm) thick.
  • Solid steel die block measures approximately 76 x 76 mm (3 x 3 inches).
  • Ideal for creating consistent, repeatable kite-shaped blanks for jewellery.
