The Wartenberg Pinwheel is a diagnostic instrument used to test nerve sensitivity and cutaneous sensory responses. The freely rotating wheel is fitted with sharp, evenly spaced pins that glide smoothly across the skin, allowing clinicians to perform dermatome mapping and assess neurological function with consistency.

Each pinwheel is machined from solid brass and finished with a durable chrome plating for corrosion resistance and effective sterilisation between uses. The 165 mm handle is balanced for controlled application of pressure. A range of wheel configurations, from single to multi-row, is available to suit specific diagnostic procedures.

Primarily used by neurologists, physiotherapists, and medical students for clinical neurological examinations.
