Are your instruments autoclave-compatible?
Yes — all surgical and veterinary instruments in our range are 420 or 440-grade stainless steel, suitable for standard autoclave cycles (134°C / 273°F, 18 minutes). Sterilisation and single-patient protocols remain the responsibility of the practice.

Can mobile vets order kit to a home/van address rather than the practice?
Yes — your trade account can be set up with multi-address delivery. Mobile vets regularly order restocks to home or van addresses.

Do you stock suture material or consumables?
Not currently — Toolsmith is a tools and instruments specialist. For sutures, bandages and pharmaceutical consumables, established UK trade suppliers are Millpledge Veterinary, NASCO UK and JAK Marketing.

What's the turnaround on a mid-round replacement order?
