This disc cutter set allows you to consistently punch four sizes of acorn-shaped blanks from soft metal sheet. The set includes a solid 76 mm square die block and four corresponding punches, all machined from tempered, high-carbon tool steel for durable cutting edges.

To use, place your annealed non-ferrous metal sheet (up to 18 gauge or 1.02 mm) into the die, insert the matching punch, and strike firmly with a mallet. The four included punch sizes are 7.91 x 15.70 mm, 10.01 x 16.71 mm, 12.45 x 22.41 mm, and 14.75 x 25.83 mm. Using a cutting lubricant will help achieve the cleanest cut and prolong the life of the tool.

This tool is suited for jewellers creating pendants and earrings, silversmiths producing decorative components, or model makers requiring precise, repeatable shapes from copper, brass, silver, or gold sheet.

  • Block and punches are crafted from tempered high-carbon tool steel.
  • Cuts non-ferrous sheet metal up to 18 gauge (1.02 mm) thick.
  • Solid 76 x 76 mm (3 x 3 inch) steel die block provides a stable base.
  • Includes four acorn punches: 7.9, 10.0, 12.5, and 14.8 mm nominal widths.
  • Ideal for creating consistent, repeatable shapes for jewellery and metal craft.
