A classic Babinski-style reflex hammer, a fundamental diagnostic instrument for neurological assessment. This 6-inch (152 mm) hammer is machined from a single piece of surgical-grade stainless steel, ensuring it can withstand the rigours of repeated clinical use and sterilisation via autoclave.

The design is optimised for precise percussion to test deep tendon reflexes, particularly the knee-jerk (patellar) and plantar (Babinski) responses. The weight and balance provide a controlled swing, while the rubber ring around the head ensures patient comfort. The handle can also be used to elicit superficial or cutaneous reflexes.
