Hand-Forged Damascus Steel Kitchen Knife with Red Pakkawood Handle
This kitchen knife is hand-forged from 512 layers of steel, combining 1075 high-carbon steel for a sharp edge with 4340 stainless steel for resilience. The process creates a distinctive twist pattern in the blade, which is hardened to 55-58 HRC to ensure it holds its edge through repeated use.
The full-tang construction provides strength and balance, complemented by a handle made from durable red Pakkawood and black Micarta. A solid steel bolster provides a comfortable and secure transition from handle to blade, offering precise control.
These knives are available individually to suit your specific needs, or as a complete set of eight which includes a leather storage roll. Choose from a range of profiles for tasks such as general preparation (Chef's, Santoku), heavy chopping (Cleaver), or fine detail work (Peeling, Utility).

Carrying in public. Under section 139 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (with equivalents in Scotland and Northern Ireland), it is an offence to have any bladed or sharply pointed article in a public place without good reason or lawful authority. Carry your purchase only when transporting it directly to and from a workplace, workshop, fieldcraft course, hunting estate, or other lawful use.
Use. This is a sharp working tool, not a weapon. Cut away from the body, keep fingers behind the edge, sheathe before storing, and keep out of reach of children.
Care. Wipe dry after every use and apply a thin film of mineral or camellia oil to prevent rust — high-carbon and Damascus steels will spot or patina if left damp.
