This utility knife features a substantial, hand-forged blade made from 512 layers of contrasting high-carbon and stainless steels. The full-tang construction ensures strength and balance, extending the blade steel through the entire length of the handle for maximum durability.

The handle is shaped from resilient red Pakkawood, a stabilised wood and resin composite known for its resistance to moisture and wear. It is ergonomically contoured for a comfortable grip and securely fastened to the tang with decorative mosaic and brass pins.

With its robust build and versatile blade shape, this knife is well-suited for a range of demanding tasks. Use it for general workshop duties, camp craft and food preparation, or as a heavy-duty utility knife in the kitchen.

Before you order

Age 18+ only. By placing this order you confirm you are 18 or over. The courier will request photo ID at delivery and return the parcel if no eligible adult is available.

Carrying in public. Under section 139 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (with equivalents in Scotland and Northern Ireland), it is an offence to have any bladed or sharply pointed article in a public place without good reason or lawful authority. Carry your purchase only when transporting it directly to and from a workplace, workshop, fieldcraft course, hunting estate, or other lawful use.

Use. This is a sharp working tool, not a weapon. Cut away from the body, keep fingers behind the edge, sheathe before storing, and keep out of reach of children.

Care. Wipe dry after every use and apply a thin film of mineral or camellia oil to prevent rust — high-carbon and Damascus steels will spot or patina if left damp.

Shipping. UK addresses only. Signature and photo ID required at delivery. We cannot ship to PO Boxes, parcel lockers, or addresses outside the UK.

Liability. Toolsmith Ltd accepts no responsibility for injury, damage, or legal consequences arising from the misuse, unlawful possession, or unlawful use of any tool sold on this site. The buyer is solely responsible for lawful and safe use. Full terms in our knives & axes guide.
