This disc cutter set allows you to punch clean, consistent pentagon shapes from non-ferrous metal sheet. The block and four matching punches are machined from hardened carbon tool steel for durability and a sharp cutting action. The cutting edges are tempered to maintain their sharpness through repeated use with appropriate materials.

To use, place your sheet metal in the slot, insert the correct punch, and strike its bevelled end firmly with a brass or nylon mallet. The four included punch sizes are 12x13 mm, 18x17 mm, 21x22 mm, and 27x26 mm. For best results and to prolong the life of the cutting edges, we recommend using a cutting lubricant and annealing your metal before punching.

Use cases include:

  • Creating geometric jewellery components
  • Producing decorative inlays for models
  • Fabricating uniform blanks for enamelling or stamping
  • Block and punches machined from hardened, tempered carbon tool steel.
  • Includes four pentagon punches: 12 mm, 18 mm, 21 mm, and 27 mm (approx).
  • Cuts non-ferrous metals like silver and copper up to 18 gauge (1.02 mm).
  • Solid steel die block measures approximately 76 x 76 mm (3 x 3 inches).
  • Total set weight is approximately 1.2 kg.
