This Karambit knife is hand-forged from a 512-layer billet of 1075 high carbon and 4340 stainless steels, creating a distinct raindrop pattern across the blade. The steel is hardened to 55–58 HRC, providing a balance of toughness and edge-holding capability suitable for demanding work.

The full-tang construction extends into a 4-inch handle, shaped for a secure grip. The scales are made from stabilised red pakkawood, accented with intricate mosaic and brass pins for both durability and visual detail. The traditional karambit finger ring at the pommel offers enhanced retention and control during use.

Originally developed for agricultural and utility purposes, this style of knife is effective for tasks requiring a pulling or hooking cut. It is suitable for detailed cutting work, collection, or as a functional piece of blade craft.

Before you order

Age 18+ only. By placing this order you confirm you are 18 or over. The courier will request photo ID at delivery and return the parcel if no eligible adult is available.

Carrying in public. Under section 139 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (with equivalents in Scotland and Northern Ireland), it is an offence to have any bladed or sharply pointed article in a public place without good reason or lawful authority. Carry your purchase only when transporting it directly to and from a workplace, workshop, fieldcraft course, hunting estate, or other lawful use.

Use. This is a sharp working tool, not a weapon. Cut away from the body, keep fingers behind the edge, sheathe before storing, and keep out of reach of children.

Care. Wipe dry after every use and apply a thin film of mineral or camellia oil to prevent rust — high-carbon and Damascus steels will spot or patina if left damp.

Shipping. UK addresses only. Signature and photo ID required at delivery. We cannot ship to PO Boxes, parcel lockers, or addresses outside the UK.

Liability. Toolsmith Ltd accepts no responsibility for injury, damage, or legal consequences arising from the misuse, unlawful possession, or unlawful use of any tool sold on this site. The buyer is solely responsible for lawful and safe use. Full terms in our knives & axes guide.
