Universal Tofflemire Matrix Retainer in Surgical Stainless Steel

The Tofflemire matrix retainer is a fundamental instrument for placing and securing matrix bands during restorative dental procedures. Its mechanism allows for precise tensioning of the band, creating a temporary wall around the tooth to contain and shape filling materials.

Machined from surgical-grade stainless steel, this universal retainer is built for durability and can be repeatedly sterilised by autoclave without degradation. The polished finish aids cleaning and resists corrosion, while the ergonomic screw mechanism ensures controlled adjustment.

Primarily used by dentists and dental technicians for Class II restorations. Its precise control also lends it to non-dental applications, such as holding small, delicate components in model making or jewellery repair.
