Damascus Steel Straight Razor with 70 mm 1095/15n20 Blade

This straight razor is forged from 1095 and 15n20 Damascus steel, composed of 264 individual layers. The process creates a distinctive swirl pattern, unique to each blade. The blade itself measures 70 mm in length with a substantial 4.3 mm thickness.

With an overall length of 9.5 inches (approximately 241 mm), this razor provides balanced handling for a traditional wet shave. Please note that the blade is supplied unhoned and will require stropping to achieve a shaving-ready edge.

Primarily designed for traditional barbering and personal grooming, this tool is also of interest to collectors of Damascus steel and those practising blade honing and maintenance techniques.

Care. Wipe dry after every use and apply a thin film of mineral or camellia oil to prevent rust — high-carbon and Damascus steels will spot or patina if left damp.
