Damascus Steel Straight Razor with 70 mm Blade and Patterned Steel Handle

A traditional straight razor forged from 264 layers of 1095 and 15n20 steel. The blade is hardened to HRC 58-60, providing a balance of sharpness and durability. The distinctive swirl pattern is unique to each piece.

With a 70 mm cutting edge and a substantial 4.5 mm thick spine, this razor offers precise control. The full steel construction, including the patterned handle, gives it a balanced feel in the hand. Note that the blade is factory sharpened and will require final honing with a strop (not included) to be shave-ready.

Primarily intended for traditional wet shaving. Also suitable for precision tasks such as skiving leather, cutting thin veneers, or trimming materials in model making.

Use. This is a sharp working tool, not a weapon. Cut away from the body, keep fingers behind the edge, sheathe before storing, and keep out of reach of children.

Care. Wipe dry after every use and apply a thin film of mineral or camellia oil to prevent rust — high-carbon and Damascus steels will spot or patina if left damp.
