Provides direct, hands-free light for dental examinations and for close work at the dental lab bench. The lamp head is mounted on the headband on an adjustable bracket, so you can angle the light onto the working area while keeping both hands free for your instruments. It is a light only, with no mirror or magnifying lens.
The white plastic headband adjusts for size with a snap stud and a row of adjustment holes, and a metal clip holds the cable along the band. It is supplied with a plug-in mains charger. The charger has a European two-pin plug; a UK plug adapter is needed (not included).
Who it's for:
- Dentists who want hands-free light for examinations.
- Dental hygienists and therapists needing extra directed light at the chair.
- Dental technicians doing fine detail work at the lab bench.
Away from dentistry, the same head light also suits watchmakers and jewellers doing close bench work.
- Lamp head on an adjustable bracket for positioning the light.
- White plastic headband adjusts for size with a snap stud and adjustment holes; a metal clip holds the cable.
- Plug-in mains charger with a European two-pin plug; a UK plug adapter is needed (not included).
Is this the right tool for you?
Best for
- Dentists wanting hands-free light for examinations
- Dental hygienists and therapists needing extra directed light at the chair
- Dental technicians doing fine detail work at the lab bench
- Practices wanting a simple head lamp with a plug-in mains charger
Not for
- Use as a surgical or operating light; this is a simple examination head lamp, not a replacement for the dental chair light
- Lighting a whole surgery or lab over a large area
- Users needing magnification; it has no magnifying lens, so dental loupes or an operating microscope suit that better
- UK sockets without an adapter; the charger has a European two-pin plug and a UK plug adapter is not included
