These are fine-tipped, curved locking forceps, commonly known as mosquito forceps or haemostats. Constructed from durable German stainless steel, they feature a ratchet lock mechanism just below the finger loops to hold the jaws securely clamped on tissue or materials without continuous hand pressure.

The 12.5 cm overall length provides an excellent balance of reach and fine control. The jaws are serrated to ensure a firm grip, and the instrument's satin finish minimises glare under bright operating lights. Designed for repeated professional use, these forceps are fully reusable and can be sterilised by autoclave.

Primarily used for clamping small blood vessels (haemostasis), grasping delicate tissues, or holding fine sutures during surgical, dental, or veterinary procedures.
