This saddler's knife is designed for precision leatherwork, from skiving edges to making clean, straight cuts. The blade is hand-forged from Damascus steel, folded five times to create a distinctive pattern and a durable cutting edge with over 246 layers.

The full-tang construction provides balance and control. Its handle is shaped from wood, accented with brass fittings and mosaic pins for a secure grip. A lanyard hole offers an additional storage option. The tool is supplied with a stitched leather sheath to protect the blade when not in use. Note: as this is a handmade item, the Damascus pattern and sheath colour may vary slightly from the photographs.

Ideal for leatherworkers, saddlers, and bookbinders for tasks such as thinning leather edges for seams, cutting patterns, or trimming finished goods.

Care. Wipe dry after every use and apply a thin film of mineral or camellia oil to prevent rust — high-carbon and Damascus steels will spot or patina if left damp.
