Professional jewellery making tools for every stage of bench work: forming, shaping, cutting, stamping, soldering, setting, polishing and finishing. The range includes parallel action pliers, disc cutters, ring and bracelet mandrels, dapping blocks, forming stakes, chasing hammers, casting crucibles and rubber mould frames.

It is the largest range we stock, used by working silversmiths, trade jewellers, jewellery students and serious hobbyists. Every order ships from UK stock with free UK delivery, and we aim to dispatch orders placed before 2pm UK time, Monday to Friday, the same working day.

Who these tools are for

Bench jewellers, silversmiths, jewellery repair studios, college and university jewellery courses, and hobbyists who have outgrown a beginner kit.

Tools by job

  • Pliers: parallel action, chain nose, round nose, flat nose, bail making and anticlastic forming pliers
  • Forming & shaping: ring and bracelet mandrels, dapping blocks and punches, forming stakes
  • Cutting & stamping: disc cutters, letter and number stamp sets, bench pins
  • Casting: crucibles and tongs, rubber mould frames, vulcanisers
  • Soldering & finishing: cross-lock tweezers, third hands, titanium solder picks, rotary polishing brushes and burnishers

How to choose the right pliers

Parallel action jaws stay parallel as they close, so they grip round wire and stock evenly without marking it. Nylon-jaw pliers are gentler on sterling silver, gold and copper. For ring work, a steel mandrel takes hammering; a wooden or aluminium mandrel is kinder to finished or plated rings.
