The Toolsmith punches and stamps range is led by disc cutter sets for cutting round and shaped blanks from sheet. It also covers 37-piece letter and number stamp sets in 1.5, 2, 3, 4 and 5 mm, purity mark stamps (STERLING, 925 and gold carat marks), a five-pointed star design punch, dapping and doming sets, collet and swage blocks, forming stakes and stamp holders.
Every order ships from UK stock with free UK delivery, and we aim to dispatch orders placed before 2pm UK time, Monday to Friday, the same working day.

How to choose
Pick a stamp face size to suit the piece: 1.5 to 3 mm for rings and fine jewellery, 4 to 5 mm for cuffs and pendants. Always stamp on a hardened steel block; a soft surface absorbs the strike and leaves faint, uneven marks.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use these for official UK hallmarks?
No. UK hallmarks are applied only by an assay office (London, Birmingham, Sheffield or Edinburgh). These stamps are for maker's marks and decorative lettering.
What stamp size should I start with?
3 mm is the most versatile for rings, pendants and charms. 5 mm suits cuffs and larger pieces; 1.5 or 2 mm suits signet ring initials.
What are disc cutters for?
A disc cutter punches clean, flat blanks from metal sheet: slide the sheet into the slot, insert the punch and strike it with a hammer. The blanks can then be domed, stamped or pierced.
Do you dispatch the same day?
We aim to. Orders placed before 2pm UK time, Monday to Friday, are targeted for same-day dispatch; later orders are dispatched from the next working day. It is a target, not a guarantee. Most UK orders arrive 2-3 working days after dispatch.
