The Ulu knife provides an efficient chopping action, using a rocking motion ideal for mincing herbs, vegetables, and meats. This blade is hand-forged from layered 1095 and 15N20 carbon steels, creating the distinctive, one-of-a-kind pattern characteristic of Damascus steel.

Built with a full-tang construction for durability and balance, the knife features a comfortable Rosewood handle secured with brass and mosaic pins. A durable, hand-stitched leather sheath is supplied to protect the edge during storage and transport. Note that as a natural material, the colour of the leather may vary.

This versatile blade is suitable for detailed kitchen prep, craft work such as leather cutting, or as a functional camp tool.

Care. Wipe dry after every use and apply a thin film of mineral or camellia oil to prevent rust — high-carbon and Damascus steels will spot or patina if left damp.
