Universal Tofflemire Dental Matrix Retainer with Contra-Angle Head, Stainless Steel
This universal Tofflemire-style dental matrix retainer holds a thin metal matrix band in a tightened loop around a tooth, forming a temporary wall that the dentist or dental therapist places the filling material against. The contra-angle head allows access to tight areas of the mouth, while the primary screw mechanism moves the sliding body to tighten or loosen the band loop. A secondary smaller screw at the end locks the band securely into the retainer.
Manufactured from stainless steel, the instrument has a highly polished finish that resists corrosion and is easy to clean. The robust construction and simple mechanical action ensure reliability and a long service life. It is fully autoclavable, so it can go through the practice decontamination cycle with your other instruments.

- Dental therapists placing fillings with a Tofflemire band in place.
